Our vehicle inspection covers every critical aspect of a vehicle to give you a complete picture of its condition, ensuring that your new car or trucks history is clear and accurate or that your existing vehicle passes state requirements. Whether you purchase your vehicle from us, want to sell your vehicle and have us check it out beforehand or bring a used car to have one of our ASE certified technicians inspect it, here’s what Good Life Motors inspections consist of:
46-Point Inspection: A qualified mechanic will perform a comprehensive visual inspection of the car’s exterior and interior. This includes:
-
- Checking for fluid leaks
- Examining broken or worn components
- Inspecting the radiator and other key areas for any visible signs of damage
Test Drive: The mechanic will take the vehicle for a test drive to evaluate its overall performance and if there are any issues to be concerned about, including:
-
- Steering responsiveness
- Suspension and ride quality
- Braking efficiency
Mechanical Inspection: Our ASE certified mechanics and service team will perform a detailed mechanical inspection using our specialized shop equipment to check for vibrations, pulling, unusual noises, acceleration and braking performance covering key components such as:
-
- Engine performance
- Transmission functionality
- Brake system condition
- Suspension integrity
Computer Diagnostic Test: We use advanced diagnostic tools to check the vehicle’s computer systems, including the engine electronics and ignition system. This allows us to identify any hidden issues that may not be immediately visible.
Additional Checks: Beyond the mechanics, we also look for signs of hidden damage to ensure the vehicles history is clear and accurate, including:
-
- Crash or flood damage
- Calibration updates
- Alterations to the vehicle identification number (VIN)
- Salvage titles or signs of odometer fraud
