Meet the Amazing GLM Family

Brad Tibbs, the owner of Good Life Motors, has built his business from the ground up, transforming a car-flipping hobby into one of Idaho’s premier pre-owned car dealerships. His journey into the automotive world began in 2006 when he initially planned on going into ministry. However, a pivot into business led him to discover that he could make a significant impact through his work. What started as a small operation of buying and selling cars in Boise quickly evolved into something much bigger. Brad would purchase five affordable cars for $1,000 each, sell them the same week, and head back to the auction to repeat the process. Craigslist played a big role in the early days, with Brad selling many cars online before the 2008 economic collapse shifted the car market in his favor.

During this challenging time, Brad thrived by offering budget-friendly vehicles that people could afford during tough economic conditions. As dealerships struggled, Brad’s business was booming. He had a knack for meeting the demand for reliable, low-cost cars, and it only took seven years to fill his Fairview, Idaho location with inventory and max out the space. As his business grew, Brad expanded into a larger location in 2013 with room for more cars and a service shop, transitioning into a full-service used car dealership.

In 2020, Brad moved Good Life Motors to its current location in Nampa, Idaho, on a 2-acre lot that once housed Paul’s Market, a beloved family-owned grocery chain. Today, the dealership boasts one of the largest showrooms in the state, with a 22,000-square-foot facility, complete with a 6,000-square-foot service shop and a 4,000-square-foot detail bay.

At the heart of Brad’s mission for Good Life Motors is a commitment to excellence and meaningful interactions. He strives to ensure the dealership isn’t just transactional but rather a place where customers feel valued and cared for. He's passionate about creating value in the marketplace by offering quality cars that have been meticulously serviced and detailed, ensuring every customer has a memorable experience and a trustworthy vehicle they can depend on.

For Brad, growth is the most exciting part of running Good Life Motors. Not just growth in himself as a leader, but also in his team members, and the company in general. By focusing on continuous improvement, it has kept the dealership thriving. Beyond business, Brad is deeply committed to his family. He is married and has three children: Carley, who lives in Phoenix; Jonah, who works part-time at Good Life Motors; and Jade, who is entering 2nd grade. As a family, they love to travel and spent five summers in Ecuador from 2015 to 2019, working with Brad’s brother, who ran a mission there.

Brad's long-term vision for Good Life Motors is to continue growing the business while making a positive impact on the community. His goal for the dealership is to reach milestones that will enable them to give back and help transform the lives of others in need. At Good Life Motors, it's all about creating a win-win for customers, employees, and the local community.

Targhee Swaner joined Good Life Motors as General Manager on July 15, 2024, bringing over 13 years of experience in sales management. His extensive background made for a seamless transition into his leadership role at GLM, where he oversees the daily operations and helps guide the team to success.

What Targhee loves most about working at Good Life Motors is the incredible team environment. He finds it refreshing to work alongside people who genuinely enjoy their jobs and share common values. For him, GLM is all about working toward a shared goal of taking care of customers, which, in turn, allows the team to take care of their own families. He also appreciates the positive difference in customer interactions compared to his previous roles, describing it as a “night and day” improvement. At GLM, the team is breaking through new barriers, striving for excellence, and pushing to elevate the customer experience. Targhee is energized by the company’s drive and excitement and aims to spread that enthusiasm to the team, customers, and beyond.

Outside of work, Targhee enjoys spending time with his family. Whether it’s traveling, camping, fishing, or hiking, he loves the great outdoors and looks forward to exploring more. Happily married with three kids, Targhee values family time and is always eager for the next adventure with his loved ones.

Gina Bringman joined Good Life in August 2023 and has quickly become an integral part of the team as the Operations Manager. With a background in both business and the automotive industry, Gina brings a wealth of experience to her role. Prior to GLM, she worked as an executive assistant for a real estate CEO and agency, where she developed her business and organizational skills. Before that, Gina spent six years in internet sales at a local car dealership, gaining valuable experience in automotive sales and marketing.

What Gina loves most about working at Good Life Motors is the perfect blend of steady, fulfilling work and the opportunity to implement her marketing and business skills in a place that brings her joy. She enjoys the rewarding feeling of being needed and valued, pouring her heart and soul into the job. She feels the team environment at GLM is like family, where everyone is working toward a common goal and supporting each other along the way.

Outside of work, Gina enjoys spending quality time with her family. Whether at home in her pajamas or camping in the mountains, she cherishes moments with her loved ones. She and her family love traveling to the mountains with their in-laws to hunt and relax together.

Cruz joined Good Life Motors in October of 2022, bringing with him over three years of experience as a skilled technician. His hands-on knowledge and dedication to excellence made him a natural fit for his current role as Service Manager. What Cruz loves most about working at Good Life is the tight-knit culture, where everyone feels like family and friends.

Outside of work, Cruz enjoys spending his time fishing, riding his motorcycle, and making memories with his family. His passion for adventure and quality time perfectly balances his professional dedication.

Jacob Bridgman, known as JB, joined Good Life Motors on March 13, 2024, bringing with him a unique blend of experience from both the automotive industry and as a director for virtual reality fitness over the past seven years. His diverse background gives him a well-rounded perspective in his role as Sales Manager, where he combines financial expertise and sales.

JB loves the independence he is afforded working at GLM.  He enjoys a close relationship with his boss, who he not only considers a friend but also someone he knows through a shared faith community. JB appreciates the values within the team at Good Life Motors, where mutual respect, hard work, and a standard of excellence are the foundation. The fact that his colleagues share a similar faith adds even more meaning to his career.

Outside of work, JB is an avid explorer of different cultures, having visited seven countries in the past year. He also dedicates one to two hours daily to self-development, continually growing in both his personal and professional life. With a strong faith, JB is a cross-developmental advocate, a Sunday school teacher, and is deeply invested in helping others grow through self-improvement.

Brett joined the Good Life Motors team in November 2024 as the Lead Detailer. With 30 years of experience in construction and 6.5 years running detail departments in the automotive industry, Brett brings a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and a sharp eye for detail to his role.

What Brett loves most about Good Life Motors is its unique atmosphere and positive vibe, which set it apart from his previous experiences.  Outside of work, Brett enjoys the thrill of riding dirt bikes, camping, and spending time outdoors exploring nature.

Keith Duvall joined Good Life Motors in March of 2023, bringing with him experience from both the automotive and banking industries, where he’s spent the last seven years. In his role as F&I Manager and Sales Development, Keith ensures that every customer has a seamless and straightforward car-buying experience.

What he loves most about working at GLM is how easy and hassle-free the car-buying process is for customers. He values the honesty and integrity of his team, knowing they always have the customers' best interests at heart. "It's this transparency and efficiency that sets GLM apart from other dealerships", he says.

Outside of work, Keith enjoys spending time at home, where he loves cooking, reading, and relaxing with some good TV shows.

Manasse became part of the Good Life Motors team in July of 2019, following a unique path into the automotive industry. He previously worked at a door factory for a year and a half, but after purchasing two vehicles from Good Life Motors, he was so impressed with the company that he decided to apply. His passion for cars and the great experience he had as a customer inspired his career transition.

Manasse loves the culture at Good Life Motors, appreciating the close-knit community that isn’t corporate-driven. He values the shared goal of helping each other grow and succeed.

Outside of work, Manasse loves to travel and spend time with his family. He has visited over 10 countries, with Spain being his favorite destination due to its stunning architecture, rich history, and vibrant atmosphere.

Eric Rodriguez joined Good Life Motors in July of 2024, bringing with him nine years of experience in sales from a local uniform company in Nampa. His background in customer service and sales has made him a valuable addition to the GLM team.

What Eric loves most about working at GLM is the strong sense of teamwork. When he describes the culture of GLM, Eric says, “I’ve been impressed by how the entire team, from leadership down, consistently comes together to do what's right for the customer. This commitment to integrity and collaboration is what sets GLM apart.”

Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, especially his kids. He also loves camping and cherishing those special moments with his loved ones in the great outdoors.

Paul joined Good Life Motors as a Sales Consultant in late July 2024, bringing a hands-on background and a keen eye for detail. Before joining GLM, Paul honed his skills as a furniture repairman and interior car repair specialist, showcasing his craftsmanship and problem-solving abilities.  

What Paul loves most about Good Life Motors is the people. He values the camaraderie and excellence of the team, describing them as "really good and supportive".  

Outside of work, Paul enjoys staying active by playing pickleball and finds relaxation and joy in his passion for fishing. Whether casting a line or serving on the court, Paul brings the same enthusiasm and dedication that makes him a valued member of the GLM family.  

Kassaundra "Kash" Cash joined Good Life Motors in July 2024 as a Parts & Service Advisor, bringing with her a decade of experience in the automotive parts industry. Her extensive knowledge in parts and service has made her an essential part of the GLM team, ensuring customers get the right parts and that their vehicles are serviced properly.

What Kash loves most about working at Good Life Motors is the incredible vibe of the company. She describes it as a place where work doesn’t feel like a job, but more of a way of living. She’s excited to come to work every day and values the balance of being able to fully clock out, both physically and mentally, when her day is done. For Kash, the top priority at GLM is taking care of customers—making sure their cars are fixed right the first time and ensuring everyone leaves satisfied.

Outside of work, Kash loves spending time with her daughter and taking care of her three dogs. She also enjoys working in her garden and is a huge Star Trek fan.

Cody Wilding joined Good Life Motors in May 2024. With a background in automotive detailing from new car dealerships in Boise, Cody brings quality experience to his role. Even before entering the automotive industry, he managed a team and crew for five years, showcasing his leadership skills and team-oriented approach from an earlier age.

What Cody loves most about working at GLM is the unparalleled care and respect the company shows for its employees, customers, and community. He has never encountered a work environment that prioritizes teamwork, communication, and mutual respect to the same degree as GLM, making it a standout place for him.

Outside of work, Cody, a longtime Idaho resident since 2012, enjoys a range of activities. He is passionate about fitness and plans to compete in bodybuilding next year. Cody has been happily married for 10 years and enjoys playing the drums, golfing, and participating in church activities.

Jason joined Good Life Motors in November of 2023, bringing with him 14 years of experience as a technician. Before focusing on automotive work, Jason also spent time in the logging industry, adding to his diverse skill set. His expertise and dedication make him a valuable asset to the team.

What Jason loves most about working at Good Life Motors is the people and the fact that it’s an independent dealership, which creates a more personal and supportive work environment.

Outside of work, Jason is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and anything outside—except for golfing!

Paul joined Good Life Motors in July of 2024, bringing 12 years of experience in the automotive industry. Prior to GLM, Paul worked in various independent auto shops, honing his skills as an ASE certified mechanic and gaining extensive experience turning wrenches.

What Paul loves most about GLM is the culture and the low-stress environment. He finds his current role more fun and enjoyable compared to past experiences, describing the atmosphere at GLM as upbeat and refreshing. After working in some toxic environments, Paul was drawn to GLM because of its superior culture, where he now thrives.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time outdoors. He loves hiking, camping, and fishing, and is a devoted family man. Paul is married and spends quality time with his three teenage boys, creating lasting memories together in the great outdoors.

Theo Williams joined Good Life Motors in November of 2022, stepping into the role of Service Technician right after graduating from high school. Theo’s passion for mechanics began early, and he eagerly reached out to GLM owner, Brad Tibbs, who was searching for skilled mechanics at the time.

What Theo loves most about working at GLM is the people. He appreciates the camaraderie and support among the team, highlighting how everyone gets along and helps each other out. Theo especially values the mentorship he’s received from Cruz, the service manager, who has guided him through the ropes and contributed significantly to his growth at GLM.

Outside of work, Theo enjoys a variety of outdoor activities. He loves riding motorcycles, fishing, camping, and making the most of his free time by embracing his adventurous side.

Theresa Skaggs became a part of the Good Life team in November 2024 as the Executive Assistant to the Owner. With 20 years of experience in aviation and 6 years in real estate development, she brings a wealth of expertise and a unique perspective to her role.

Theresa is inspired by Good Life Motors' mission and the meaningful values embodied in the company’s turtle motto, which serves as a constant reminder of perseverance and purpose.

When she's not at work, Theresa loves to travel, especially to beachside destinations. She enjoys the thrill of riding her Harley and devotes her time to a nonprofit organization focused on supporting children in need.

Morgan joined the Good Life Motors team in November 2024 as the Executive Assistant to the Operations Manager. With over 8 years of administrative experience and 4 years in human resources, she brings expertise and professionalism to her role. Her attention to detail and organizational skills help ensure the smooth daily operations of the dealership.

What Morgan appreciates most about Good Life Motors is the incredible people and the welcoming, supportive culture that feels like family.

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending her time hiking, diving into a good book, and creating lasting memories with her family and friends.

Nancy has been a valued member of the Good Life Motors team since August of 2017. Originally from Peru, Nancy moved to the United States in 2012 with a background in education, having worked as a teacher in Peru. Upon arriving in the U.S., she continued to share her love for teaching by volunteering as a Spanish teacher and working in various roles, including at a grocery store, pumpkin patch, and as a substitute teacher for the Nampa School District. In 2015, she welcomed her first child and soon after transitioned into her current role at Good Life Motors.

What Nancy loves most about working at Good Life Motors is the welcoming, family-like atmosphere. From her first day, she felt trusted and supported as she learned new skills and tasks. She also appreciates the flexibility in her schedule, which has allowed her to balance work and family life.

Outside of work, Nancy enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her two kids. They love exploring parks, taking walks, and discovering new places in Idaho. She also cherishes building community with her friends from church.

Jaycee has been with Good Life Motors since August of 2015. Before joining GLM, she and her husband ran a car paint touch-up business in Puerto Rico for six and a half years, where she gained valuable industry experience. Her transition to Title Clerk has allowed her to continue working in the automotive field while utilizing her skills in a different capacity.

Jaycee loves the supportive team environment at Good Life Motors and appreciates how the company allows her to maintain a good balance between work and home life.

Outside of work, Jaycee enjoys window shopping, spending quality time with her family, watching Survivor, and indulging in her love for chocolate.

Ely joined Good Life Motors on February 15, 2023, stepping into a new role that allowed her to grow and gain experience. Though she didn’t have much direct experience in facilities management, Good Life Motors provided her with the training and support needed to learn the job and excel. Since then, Ely has embraced the opportunity to build her skills and contribute to the team.

What Ely loves most about working at Good Life is the kindness of her coworkers and the strong communication throughout the team. She especially enjoys the company meetings, where everyone gets to know each other better and spend time together as a united front.

Outside of work, Ely enjoys spending quality time with her family, taking her son to the park, and playing baseball. She also values time spent reading the Bible together as a family, expressing gratitude and their faith in God for all that they have.

Grace joined Good Life Motors on November 6, 2020, bringing with her four years of experience in Banking and Finance from Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. Her background in financial services has been a great asset to the GLM team, where she plays a crucial role in managing the company's accounting.

What Grace loves most about working at Good Life Motors is her passion for accounting and how it contributes to her personal growth. She also deeply values the people she works with, feeling a strong sense of friendship, connection, appreciation, and inclusivity with colleagues.

Outside of work, Grace enjoys attending her online classes, watching movies, and traveling to new destinations.
